Isabella Missoni is an Italian fashion blogger and designer who was a model and spokesperson for Guess and conceived and created a highly influential, award winning, international fashion blog with over 1 million followers.
Throughout her successful career in high fashion, she collaborated with such elite designers as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Chanel, Max Mara, Tommy Hilfiger and Steve Madden. Miss Isabella was recognized for her accomplishments by Forbes magazine and has appeared on the cover of Vogue, Harper’s Bazar and Elle magazines, among others. When Bloomingdale’s Department Store and Zappos.com began selling her high fashion shoe designs, Miss Isabella knew it was time to develop deeper roots in the United States.
During her consultation with U.S. Immigration Attorney, Rebecca I. Pathak, Miss Isabella wondered whether she would qualify for the EB-1, Extraordinary Ability classification status. While fashion models receive limited treatment under the United States Immigration and Nationality Act, Attorney Pathak knew that Miss Isabella is more than a fashion model, she is an entrepreneur, blogger and designer as well. The Attorney was confident that Miss Isabella would qualify for the EB-1 “green card.”
On December 24, 2015, Pathak Law Firm submitted an EB-1 Extraordinary Ability Premium Processing and combined processed Application to Adjust to Status to Lawful Permanent Resident to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”). The I-140 self-petition for Miss Isabella was approved on January 6, 2016 and Miss Isabella received her “green card” on May 2, 2016.
